At MEDICI Urgent Care and Wellness Center, our practitioners know you want to travel the world, and we are ready to help you stay safe. We will create a personalized travel plan based on your destination, situation, and current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We will review medications, vaccinations, and information for staying healthy during your trip and after arriving home.
We are authorized to give the Yellow Fever vaccine. We will provide you with the Yellow Book. Download the consent form below and bring it to your appointment. We also offer the COVID-19 vaccine weekly.
We recommend scheduling your travel consultation at least a week prior to departure. We are also here to help with any issues that may arise upon your return.
Travel Medicine Consultations are $450 and include the Yellow Fever vaccine and Yellow Card, as well as any prescriptions you may need for malaria and/or travelers’ diarrhea.
Of note, health insurance does not pay for travel vaccines, as the US does not require these. We also offer the typhoid vaccine, which is not part of the consultation. The fee for that is $190.
